Prior math pushes joining hard, and the allowed gap is wide enough that most joiners find a non-joiner. The prior-math gap shrinks only part of the way. Compare the grade gap before pairing with the workshop’s own effect.先前数学把报名推得很用力，允许的差距也宽到大多数参加者找得到未参加者。先前数学的差距只缩小一部分。把配对前的成绩差和工作坊本身的作用比一比。

The notice passes a talk 40 percent of the time, and the chance of an Arts–Engineering talk is zero. Arts never receives it. Turning the passing chance up later still cannot cross a talk that is not there.通知有四成机会沿一次谈话传过去，跨学院谈话的机会是零。文学院永远收不到。以后把传递机会调高，仍然跨不过一条不存在的谈话。
